Join the Auburn University Women’s Golf coaching staff for a one-day Short Game Academy at the Jack Key Golf Teaching Facility. The Auburn Tiger Short Game Academy will benefit each and every player who wants to improve their overall short game, learn how to practice their short game effectively and play college golf. You will work with two of the best short game coaches in the country.

Specific Topics Will Include:

  • Putting - instruction, drills & utilizing the latest technology in both SAM Putt Lab & V1 video system
  • Chipping - instruction & drills
  • Pitching - instruction & drills
  • Bunker play - instruction & drills
  • Wedge play - instruction, drills & utilizing the latest technology in both TrackMan & V1 video system
  • How to practice your short game like an elite college player?
  • College Golf Session & Q/A with Coach Luellen and Coach Pratt

Check-In
Check-in will be held from 8:30am-8:45am on Sunday, March 25. All health forms will be required at this time. Upon acceptance of the application you will receive a confirmation email with the health forms attached.

Golf Facilities
Players will participate in instructional session held at the Jack Key Golf Teaching Facility, home of the Auburn Tiger Men’s and Women’s golf programs. This 29-acre, state-of-the-art facility boast both indoor and outdoor hitting facilities, practice putting greens, and the newly renovated 7 acre short game facility.

Meals
Lunch will be provided.

Insurance & Medical
All claims for medical expenses as a result of medical injuries incurred during camp must be filed by the injured parent’s coverage. All medical clearance and waiver forms must be completed and signed by a parent and a physician prior to the start of camp. Also, a front and back copy of your insurance card must be turned in. We make every effort to protect the health and safety of all campers.

Refund Policy
100% of your money will be refunded if given 24 hour notice that you cannot attend the camp.

 
Schedule of Events

  8:45am - 9:15am: College Golf Recruiting Q&A - Parent's Welcome!
  9:15am - 11:30am: Short Game Skill Assessments (Putting, Chipping/Pitching, Wedges)
  11:45am - 12:45pm: Lunch
  1:00pm - 2:25pm: Teaching Station Rotations (Putting, Chipping/Pitching, Wedge Game)
  2:35pm - 4:00pm: Teaching Station Rotations (Putting, Chipping/Pitching, Wedge Game)
All Auburn golf camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
